Jennie Mills
Owner, Labor & Postpartum Doula
Licensed Massage Therapist
Jennie is a Labor & Birth Doula. She trained through Bastyr University at the Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations. She is a DONA International certified professional. Jennie is also a licensed massage therapist. Her fun and flexible personality helps keep the environment upbeat and playful while also being able to provide a calming presence in times of stress. Jennie uses her experience as an LMT as well as her Doula knowledge during the birthing process in order to provide a relaxing and supportive atmosphere. Jennie feels honored to be able to support new and experienced parents and prioritizes their preferences to ensure this magical moment is enjoyed and remembered.
Amanda Duggan
BSN, RN
Childbirth Instructor
Amanda has been a nurse for 6 years, with a clinical background in cardiac nursing and OBGYN nursing. She is a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. She is a wife, and mom to three energetic kids. Her passion is to support parents through the transition of bringing a new member into their family. Her primary goal in education is to make sure parents have the knowledge and confidence to make the choices that are right for their family, during pregnancy and after baby. She enjoys being outside with her family, tennis, dancing and crafts in her spare time.
Catie Pennie
BSN, RN, RNC-OB, Childbirth Instructor
Catie is a labor and delivery nurse at EvergreenHealth Hospital. She is also certified in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB). She received her BSN from University of Portland, where in addition to her nursing studies, she was on the women's Rowing team! Catie has always been passionate about women's health and it has always been her dream and main goal in life to become a labor and delivery nurse. As a Childbirth Educator she strives to provide as much information and education as possible, with the hope that new parents and families will feel confident (and possibly a little less nervous) about this new and exciting phase of life! Every family Catie meets, every birth experience she is a part of, is truly humbling and special. In her free time, you will most often find Catie out and about with her husband and their Goldendoodle/partner-in-crime, Wilson.
Anita Sandall
EMT, CPR Instructor
Anita Sandall is a Washingtonian with 3 adult children, and grandmother of 6. Anita comes to PTN with 28 yrs as a massage therapist, as well as 20 years' experience as an Emergency Medical Tech in the fire service, and state evaluator for EMS. She has taught CPR for over 17 years to a variety of student audiences ages ranging from 5years old to the adult learner in the healthcare setting. Her enthusiastic teaching style, humor and knowledge make her a great addition to our PTN family of instructors.
Faith Skatrud
RN, BSN
Childbirth Instructor, Postpartum Doula, Certified Sleep Consultant
Faith has been a nurse for 5 years with a clinical background in pediatrics and surgical care. She is also a postpartum doula and certified pediatric sleep consultant. She has a passion to educate and empower new parents to connect with each other, achieve their birthing and parenting goals, and enjoy their new babies!
Outside of her career, she is a wife, and the mom of a very active and sweet 18-month-old boy. Her hobbies include gardening and caring for her many house plants, playing piano, and exploring the many parks in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle where she lives with her partner and son.
Sarah Jurado
BSN, RN, RNC-OB
Childbirth Instructor
Sarah has a passion for empowering and supporting parents during birth and meeting their babies for the first time. Sarah is deeply committed to providing equitable, judgement-free care, and making room for everyone’s process on their journey to parenthood.
She loves her work as a registered nurse and is certified in inpatient OB care. She has served as Co-Chair of the Labor & Delivery Quality Committee & helped to create a committee for Racial Equity in Maternal Healthcare at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Washington. Her background in healthcare photography, and art melds the intuitive with the analytical.
When she’s not helping families navigate birth and beyond you’ll find Sarah trail running, exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer with her husband and son, and fundraising for Every Mother Counts.
Bri Music
Doula, Midwife Student
As a Doula, and as a student midwife, Bri is passionate about serving and supporting birthing families. She believes in taking a holistic approach to birth and life. Bri offers support for home births, as well as empowering people to advocate for themselves in the hospital setting. She has experience with high risk pregnancies, premature births, hospital transfers, VBAC's, vaginal breeches, and physiological births at home both in the water and on land.

Bri is from the Puyallup Valley but live in Auburn now with my partner and 6 kids. She considers all of her clients her family for the time she has the honor of supporting them.
