PTN Studio - Childbirth, Newborn Care & Breastfeeding

We've created an amazing curriculum of classes to prep you for parenthood and give you confidence for what lies ahead! We invite you and your support person to learn, laugh and enjoy as you sit back and relax in our exclusive group classes given at a time and location convenient for you. We recommend registering for prenatal classes by your fifth month of pregnancy. Plan to complete your prenatal classes 4-6 weeks before your due date.

We will discuss the labor process and guidelines to go to the hospital, as well as coping skills such as Lamaze breathing and relaxation techniques, pain medication options, C-sections, inductions and what to expect post-delivery.

The second half of this class will prepare you to care for your newborn at home. We will cover diapering, umbilical cord care, bathing, breast & bottle feeding, sleeping and more. Our goal is to leave you feeling assured and confident in your role as a new parent. 

Strict COVID protocols are being followed.  No food or drink provided at this time. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. Social distancing will be encouraged.  More information available on our website.  Please contact us if you have any questions about our protocol.

Hospital tours are not included with the Prepare the Nest classes. Maternity Center tours are free and should be arranged through your hospital's website on a different date. Tour links are available on our resource page.
