shutterstock_201672500Babies don’t come with an owner’s manual. That’s why we have an amazing curriculum of classes to prep you for motherhood! We invite you and your significant other to learn, laugh and enjoy as you sit back and relax in our exclusive group classes, or specialized one-on-one training given at a time and location convenient for you. We recommend registering for prenatal classes by your fifth month of pregnancy. Plan to complete your prenatal classes 4-6 weeks before your due date.

Group classes are offered at several locations in Kirkland, Bellevue and Redmond.

Hospital tours are not included with the Prepare the Nest classes. These can be arranged separately with the hospital. Contact information is available on our resource page.

How are Prepare the Nest classes different than hospital classes?

Our classes require a shorter time commitment (a total of six hours for Childbirth, Breastfeeding, and Newborn Care) without leaving out any of the necessary information.

All classes are taught by medical personnel (RN’s, Paramedics, and Lactation Consultants) with the most current, relevant, and up-to-date information available.

Our classes are typically smaller in size.

We strive to provide our clients with a warm, casual, and comfortable atmosphere where you are encouraged to ask questions.

“Today’s couple is busy trying to balance work and life while preparing for baby. There often isn’t time to take weeks and weeks of childbirth classes. That is why I designed this class – for the couple who is short on time but still wants to feel prepared and armed with the essential information surrounding the birthing process and newborn care.”
